Mental Training

Mental coaching is a collective term that describes various philosophies, methods and techniques of mental training and deals with the power of thoughts and the associated power of imagination.

The original approach to mental training followed the process:

Think - Feel - Act.

Mental training is on everyone's lips, and it is increasingly becoming a pillar in amateur and professional sport that is hard to imagine without: Mental training basically means training mental health, resilience and stamina (as far as it can be trained). This can be done with the help of physical activity, but it can also be done without it. Especially in the current times, society has more problems than ever before. Corona has made avoidance the desired behavior. Fatal for the psyche
of man! Fatal, because by avoiding
of things that you fear, nothing gets better, but only worse. Many psychotherapists are not only overworked but also make a living from treating clients, so why should they be interested in their clients/patients getting better?
It is different with me: by formulating your goals and wishes and working with me to find a way to implement them, I am only successful if you are successful too and question your behavior or, if necessary, change it to achieve your goals. Because that is when my work really begins. Many people then want support so that they do not fall into old patterns or sporting support because body and mind are inseparable: those who push themselves beyond their limits in sport can do the same in “real” life and vice versa: many people find it easier to tackle sporting goals when they have found new self-confidence within themselves. A wonderful feeling (also for the trainer) that can change life in a decisive and positive way.

As a coach, I accompany you in a time-limited consultation process on the way to activating your potential and finding a solution to your problem. Sometimes I am the advocate for hidden facts and help to shed light on blind spots, sometimes a designer for new, helpful strategies or a counterpart for honest feedback.



Changes require recognizing entanglements and the courage to take responsibility for the current situation. New, efficient strategies and decisions can be built on this that increase your well-being and reduce stress. I will work with you to find holistic solutions that can be integrated into your life as a whole. Even though the methods of coaching largely come from the repertoire of psychotherapeutic methods, coaching, unlike psychotherapy, does not deal with the treatment of mental disorders.
