Many people with orthopedic diseases choose rehabilitation sports to support the success of their treatment.
Rehabilitation sport is tailored to your individual physical and health needs.
Rehabilitation training is a targeted training program to compensate for or prevent muscular deficiencies and to relieve the strain on the joints. Training is particularly advisable after inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation or after operations. Rehabilitation sports are intended to improve and maintain physical functions and coordination skills.
Especially after serious illnesses such as heart attacks and strokes, rehabilitation sport is intended to provide help for self-help in order to positively influence the course of the illness, reduce symptoms and restore the ability to work.
Professional rehabilitation training
Have you recovered from an injury but your physio sessions have expired, you still have restrictions and/or you just want to keep going so that the injury and its effects do not return?
I am a trained rehabilitation trainer and am familiar with the various medical conditions. With an appropriate diagnosis, I can put together the right training for you and train with you.
If you have been treated by a physiotherapist, the training will be gradually increased so that the deficit in strength and mobility becomes less and less and you can live a life free of pain and symptoms.
It doesn't matter whether the shoulder, knee or hip are affected and whether you have had surgery or been treated conservatively (i.e. with physiotherapy). Even if you haven't been treated at all, I will help you get back to a pain-free life.
Diagnostics FMS
(functional movement screening)
This diagnostic tool can be used to identify the weak points of a body using 3-4 movement sequences and then to start from there. Imagine, for example, that you want to start running, but your movement is not functional: The result could be that running becomes painful after a short time because, for example, your standing leg buckles when you push off the ground, putting excessive strain on the inner meniscus. That would be frustrating for you and a task that your body would have to overcome before you could enjoy running again.
The FMS therefore looks at possible movement restrictions and dysfunctional movement sequences in order to prevent problems before you start a sport through strength training or appropriate footwear, so that you can enjoy your sport and any type of exercise for a long time. As a trained FMS diagnostician, you look at the body from the point of view of functionality, which means that you look at the body, how it should move and how it actually behaves in reality.
